Kids that are healthy on the inside are better equipped to deal with pressure from the outside.

Each year, the Environmental Working Group ranks produce with the most pesticides and chemicals. This list is called the "Dirty Dozen," and is as follows:

  1. Strawberries

  2. Spinach

  3. Kale, collard & mustard greens

  4. Peaches

  5. Pears

  6. Nectarines

  7. Apples

  8. Grapes

  9. Bell & hot peppers

  10. Cherries

  11. Blueberries

  12. Green beans

So here are 3 tips:

  1. Wash your hands before (& after) handling fresh produce

  2. Rinse your produce before peeling (this reduces the risk of dirt & bacteria)

  3. Dry your produce with a clean cloth or paper towel

Andy Stanley (pastor, writer, communicator) wrote:

The health of your soul determines your tolerance for duplicity.

What's duplicity?

  • A gap between your inner self & your projected self; the opposite of authentic; two-faced

What does this mean?

An unhealthier soul has a higher capacity for duplicity. And a healthier soul has a lower capacity for duplicity.

A question to consider: How big (or small) is the gap between my inner self & the self I project to others?
