Stilling the Mind, BMI & Prioritizing Your Own Health

One gauge of a healthy soul is how quickly the mind stills during solitude.
For example:
During quiet time, a healthy soul can silence & slow the mind running "1 million miles per hour" fairly quickly to focus on the truth of God.
An unhealthy soul struggles to slow down their thoughts, if at all, during solitude. Thoughts of their to-do list, work concerns or family obligations never seem to stop running through their mind.
The quicker you can tame your thoughts, the healthier you are.

Your BMI is not the best way to measure your physical health.
It's a way. Not the best way though.
BMI (Body Mass Index) is simply a "height-to-weight" ratio. Because muscle weighs 3x more than fat, individuals with more muscle will have a higher BMI.
BMI is a good starting point. But it does not always tell the entire story.
3)
This statement is especially true for any leader, parent, care-giver or any role where others depend on you:
Prioritizing your health is not me first.
It’s me too.
