Sustaining Habits, Signals & A Means to an End

You will not sustain a positive habit in a negative environment.

Truly healthy people view emotions as signals.
They allow their emotions to inform them whether to hold steady to their current state or make a change.
If you struggle with your emotions, you risk not getting better.

The initial desire to become truly healthy is rarely complete.
Why?
Because there's usually something deeper. The desire is rarely health itself. It’s usually what greater levels of health will bring.
Beware though: greater levels of health is not the end. It’s a means to an end.
A means in which we “let our light shine before others, so that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5v16)
