Feb 16, 20231)
Two obstacles to true health:
-
A misunderstanding of God
-
A distorted view of yourself
Understanding who God is & who you are is the first step to becoming truly healthy.
2)
Every environment primes you to sit. Acute bouts aren't bad, but chronic sitting can have damaging effects on your health. Here are 3 tips to avoid optional sitting:
1) Omit the sit. Anytime sitting is optional, omit it.
2) Stand when you can. Use a standing desk or even eat standing up.
3) More on the floor. If you can, choose the floor. And shift your legs & hips to help your lower body mobility too.
Sitting is the new smoking. It's the culturally acceptable behavior everyone does, yet negatively impacts their health.
3)
The way you think determines the way you feel.
The way you feel determines the way you act.
If you want to change how you act, you must begin by changing the way you think.
How? By “taking every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10v5)
