Your movement throughout the entire day is more important to your health than the hour you spend in the gym

Self-awareness is paramount to a truly healthy life. Questions are paramount to increasing levels of self-awareness. Here is a list of questions to help increase your levels of self-awareness:

  • What is it like to be parented by me?
  • What is it like to get emails from me?

  • What is it like to get texts from me?

  • What is it like to be on the other side of my Instagram comments?

  • What is it like to be married to me?

  • What is it like to be related to me?

  • What is it like to be in meetings with me?

  • What is it like to work with me?

  • What is it like to work for me?

  • What is it like to be on the sidelines of my kid’s game with me?

  • What is it like to be coached by me?

  • What is it like to be on a team with me?

  • What is it like to travel with me?

  • What is it like to do holidays with me?

  • What is it like to be on a date with me?

  • What is it like to live next to me?

  • What is it like when I correct you?

A common misconception of health:

Health is a luxury.

Meaning, only the ones with discretionary time, money & resources are able to invest in their health. If you are busy, on a budget or lack resources, you cannot increase your health.

Truth:

Health is for everyone, everywhere, during every season.

There are fundamental, God-designed behaviors that anyone can do to increase levels of health, such as sleeping well, moving often, decreasing stress & embracing purpose. These vary by degree, not kind.

A truly healthy life does not require what you don't have. It asks you to steward well what you do.
