A Sustainable Nutrition Tip, 4 Questions to Ask Yourself & Ability > Vanity
Oct 05, 20231)
A general tip regarding sustainable nutrition:
Be aware of any diet (or anyone) suggesting elimination.
For example: the keto diet (eliminating carbs), intermittent fasting (eliminating a window of time).
Why?
Because you will not "eliminate" your entire life. It's not sustainable. You want an approach that will last a lifetime. You need margin for anything to last.
Learn how to give your body what it needs each season through addition, not elimination.

2)
Truly healthy people are not mastered by any "thing."
This includes work, video games, food, sex, alcohol, relationships, coffee, money, and even their own pursuit of health.
Here are four guardrail questions to ask yourself regarding your "thing":
-
Do you arrange your schedule around it?
-
Are you trying to keep it a secret?
-
Can you go a week without it?
-
Is it leading you to greater isolation?
3)
God designed our bodies for ability, not vanity.
