2. How to build better habits and break bad ones | Habits

The brain operates on "autopilot" for the majority of your day. These subconscious patterns that the brain has normalized to tackle life's demands are known as "habits."

A habit is your go-to default mode. It is a regular pattern or tendency you perform every day.

I.e. brushing your teeth, driving your car, eating with a fork, etc.

And your health is a byproduct of your habits. They are the reason you are either in shape or out of shape, a happy person or unhappy person, or a tidy person or untidy person.

Just as habits can work for you . . . they can also work against you too. Because you have good habits that help, and you have bad habits that hinder.

In this conversation, we talk about:

- How the quality of your life is the sum of your daily habits
- What the biggest factor is that influences your habits
- The invisible hand that shapes all human behavior
- How to practically build better habits and break bad ones
